Jan Josef Liefers on “Old White Man” and “Tatort”: “Just take the snot brake off”

A sunny autumn day in Berlin. Jan Josef Liefers welcomes you to the interview in a great mood. The 60-year-old has long been one of the most successful German actors, not least because of his long-term role as forensic doctor Professor Boerne in the Münster “crime scene”. In the comedy “Old White Man” he now plays Heinz, the father of a family who is in a crisis both personally and professionally. The film opens in cinemas on October 31st.
