Amaia Montero publishes the song ‘Perfect Storm’ after 6 years of recording silence

The artist Amaia Montero has published the song ‘Perfect storm’ after six years of recording silence after her reappearance this summer as a surprise guest at one of Karol G’s four concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid.

With a text that accompanies the cover of the single, Montero explained that it is a song composed in 2014, 10 years ago, which he left off an album due to lack of space. “When the final moment came to decide the order of the songs, I came across it and, although my heart broke a little, my stubbornness to make a 10-song album got the better of me, so I left it out,” has added.

However, the artist has decided to release it now since a month ago she found it in a file and decided to make a “gift” to her followers. ““It was time to give you a gift, to share it with you, because you give me all the love in the world and you deserve it all,” concludes.

The news comes after La Oreja de Van Gogh and its vocalist Leire Martínez announced on October 14 that they were separating after 17 yearsas happened in 2007 with Montero. This has caused many fans to point to a possible return of the first singer, although she has denied it.
