Producer Quincy Jones has died

American producer, musician and songwriter Quincy Jones is dead, the news agencies say AP News I Reuters.

Jones’ spokesman Arnold Robinsonin according to the 91-year-old Jones died on Sunday evening at his home in Los Angeles, surrounded by his family.

Jones, who had a long career in music and film music, worked among other things Michael Jackson’s, Frank Sinatran and with many other top artists.

Jones, who rose from poor circumstances, began his career as a jazz trumpeter. He was one of the first black producers to rise to a prominent position in Hollywood.
