They are now joined by Rihanna who makes it clear that she supports Harris, but unlike the rest: she cannot vote, and this is for the simple reason that she is not an American citizen.

Brill posted to the networks by Rihanna, who is seen sitting in a car and looking out the window, joked that she was “trying to sneak to the polls with my son’s passport”, while encouraging others to “vote because I can’t” – and further emphasized the importance of protecting women’s rights, especially when it comes to in the presidential elections.

While the singer’s two sons, Riza Athelston Myers and Riot Rose Myers, which she shares with her partner, the rapper Aisap Rocky, are citizens of the United States – Rihanna was born in Barbados and moved to the United States in 2005 – and has never received citizenship.
