Conan O’Brien hosts the Oscars

Discussion program host, screenwriter and comedian Conan O’Brien will host next year’s Oscars. The awards ceremony held in Los Angeles will take place next year on March 3 at night Finnish time.

O’Brien now gets to host the Oscars for the first time. The two previous galas featured Jimmy Kimmelwho, like O’Brien, is a talk show host.

The broadcast of the Oscars had 20 million viewers this year and won an Emmy. Next year it will be held for the 97th time.

Conan O’Brien is known, among other things, for its programs Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and Conan. He currently has a podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.

O’Brien himself commented on the matter in this way:

“America demanded it and now it’s happening: Taco Bell has a new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. Meanwhile, elsewhere, I host the Oscars.”

Conan O’Brien has often discussed Finland in his programs. He has also visited Finland.
