The 2024 Scerbanenco Readers’ Prize to the Elias Mandreu collective

The Sardinian collective Elias Mandreu won the Readers’ Prize – City of Lignano Sabbiadoro Prize of the Giorgio Scerbanenco Prize with the crime novel “Mantene s’odiu – Remember to hate” published by Piemme, the most voted result on the Festival website.

Behind the acronym Elias Mandreu are Eugenio Annicchiarico and the brothers Mauro and Andrea Pusceddu, three authors brought to success by the Nuoro-based house Il Maestrale with two novels. The award will be awarded next Monday, December 2, in Milan, at Casa Manzoni, by the culture councilor of the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

On the same day, the winner of the Giorgio Scerbanenco Prize will be announced among the five finalists made up of Cinzia Bomoll with “Blood does not lie” (Ponte alle Grazie), Carlo Calabrò, with “Meccanica di un addio” Marsilio, Jacopo De Michelis who signs “The mountain in the lake” (published by Giunti), Paolo Roversi with “An honorable death” (Mondadori) and Orso Tosco author of “The last penguin of the Langhe” for Rizzoli.
