A crypto millionaire ate an art banana worth millions

Crypto millionaire Justin Sun ate quite an expensive fruit on Friday when he ate an Italian Maurizio Cattelanin Comedian-the banana that was in the center of the artwork. Sun had bought the work last week from Sotheby’s auction house and paid 6.2 million dollars (just under 5.9 million euros) for it.

“This is better than other bananas, really good,” Sun praised while enjoying a banana in the presence of reporters at a top Hong Kong hotel.

Comedian-work featured a banana that was taped to the wall. According to Sun, eating the fruit in public may now become part of the artwork’s history.

According to the crypto millionaire, he had already been asked a lot of “stupid questions” before the meal, such as whether the banana is spoiled or how much he appreciates the work.
