Reopening of Notre-Dame: DJ Michaël Canitrot will offer dazzling sound and light

You have to see it to believe it, this Friday, October 25. It’s 11 p.m. and it feels like the whole of Zaragoza is there, as the crowd is so dense in front of the Basilica of Del Pilar, the jewel of the Spanish city and a place of global pilgrimage for the Virgin. Despite the rain, which plays on the nerves of the organizers, there are 45,000 people and we cannot fit one more when Michaël Canitrot climbs onto the small stage mounted right in the middle of the monumental facade of this 17th century building . We bet that not many of us know this French DJ who has intrigued us for five years with his “Monumental Tour” in exceptional places.

You have to look at his Instagram account followed by more than 250,000 people to understand that Michaël Canitrot is not a DJ like the others. His thing is not so much nightclubs and festivals as historical and sacred monuments. We see him in May 2017 in front of the Louvre for Emmanuel Macron’s post-presidential party, then at the Château de Versailles and at the Monnaie de Paris.
