Raphael suffers from primary brain lymphoma for which he is being treated and will be discharged “in the coming days”

The 12 de Octubre University Hospital announced this Thursday that the singer Raphael suffers from primary brain lymphoma with two brain nodules in the left hemisphere that explain the neurological symptoms he presented a few days ago.

The singer was admitted to this hospital last Wednesday, December 18, and during his admission, according to the health center’s statement sent to Europa Press, specific treatment for this pathology has been started, which will continue on an outpatient basis. For this reason, Raphael will be discharged “expectedly in the coming days.”

For its part, his representation agency RLM has announced that the concerts that the artist had planned for early 2025 in the US, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Mexico are canceled due to “medical prescription.”

In the coming months, Raphael will undergo specialized outpatient treatment to address this pathology. For this reason, your medical team has recommended a prolonged period of rest and rest for the duration of the treatment.
