Raphael receives medical discharge to continue his treatment on an outpatient basis

The singer Raphael was discharged from the hospital this Friday after being hospitalized for 10 days, as confirmed to Europa Press by sources from the 12 de Octubre University Hospital. The artist left the health center smiling and waving from inside the car to the media representatives who were waiting nearby.

The medical discharge occurs almost a day after it became public that the singer suffers from primary brain lymphoma with two brain nodules in the left hemisphere. The singer was admitted to the hospital on December 18 after showing neurological symptoms when he was recording an interview for the TVE program ‘La Revuelta’.

As reported by the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, the singer has started specific treatment for this pathology that will continue on an outpatient basis. His medical team has recommended a prolonged period of review and rest for the duration of the treatment, which is why the artist has canceled his international tour that he had planned for the coming months.
