The artist Ana Belen has performed a version of the song at the Prado Museum ‘Spain white shirt’ composed by Víctor Manuel in 1981, with which the gallery bids farewell to the year 2024.

The recording from the Prado Central Gallery, between ‘Las meninas’ by Velázquez, took place on November 27 and was performed ‘a cappella’ by Ana Belén who has participated in a “selfless manner” and only needing three versions to place the iconic song, a song of hope, as explained by the museum in a statement.

With this video, the museum celebrates the end of the year 2024, a year in which it has reached a new historical attendance record, approximately 3,400,000 visitorssome 62,000 more than at the end of 2023, as sources from the art gallery have assured Europa Press.

In the month of December it is the second time that the Prado exceeds its historical visitor data. On December 9, the art gallery surpassed, before closing the year, the maximum number recorded at the beginning of December by raising the figure to 3,258,328 visitors compared to the 3,241,263 registered in 2023.

At the end of 2023, the Prado registered a total of 3,337,550 visits and then surpassed the absolute recordsince the previous one was the year of the Bicentennial celebration, with 3,203,417 people.
