Culture calls for aid for the publishing of books or audiobooks for an amount of 805,000 euros

The Ministry of Culture has called for aid for the publishing of books in the Spanish language, in the other official languages ​​of the Autonomous Communities, in Spanish sign languages, in the ‘Grade 1’ Braille system or audiobooks for an amount of 805,000, as published this Friday, January 3, the Official State Gazette (BOE).

The publishers who are beneficiaries of these subsidies, regardless of the nationality of the author of the work, must contribute “to the enrichment of the Spanish bibliographic heritage” and will have to have tax residence in Spain so that the distributed work can be enjoyed by readers of the language in which it is used. be edited.

Thus, the call opens from this Friday until fifteen days from now and is compatible with other aid from public or private organizations or institutions for the same activity as long as the amount is of such amount.
