Dry January: with these good Parisian addresses, you will love non-alcoholic drinks

It’s a good resolution that is sometimes difficult to keep in the face of temptation. Respecting Dry January, and therefore not drinking a drop of alcohol during the first month of the year, has never been so easy in Paris. Bars, restaurants, stores… There are now numerous addresses in the capital to find alternatives to have fun despite everything. Between non-alcoholic aperitifs, fermented drinks and other “de-alcoholized” wines. Moreover, a short guide, entitled “Paris without alcohol”, has just been published (Edition l’Indispensable, 160 p., 12.90 euros). With a suggestion of a hundred places to get supplies.

“Since Covid, the world of alcohol-free products has been booming and evolving very quickly, in terms of quality and complexity. New addresses are launching every day,” observes one of the three co-authors, Augustin Laborde, at the head of Le Paon qui boit, the first 100% alcohol-free cellar, created in April 2022 a stone’s throw from the Buttes Chaumont park. It offers 550 references in total, compared to 250 at the opening.
