Romeo and Juliet star Olivia Hussey, 73, has died

Actor Olivia Hussey has died at the age of 73, news agency AFP reports.

Hussey is particularly familiar Franco Zeffirellin from the 1968 film Romeo and Juliet. He received a Golden Globe award for the film.

“Olivia was a remarkable person whose warmth, wisdom and pure kindness touched everyone who knew her,” Hussey’s family said on her Instagram account.

Hussey acted by William Shakespeare together in a film based on the play Leonard Whitingin with. They were 15 and 16 years old at the time of filming.

Two years ago, the actors filed a lawsuit against the production company Paramount, accusing the production company of sexually abusing them in a nude scene.

The Oscar-winning film features a brief bedroom scene showing Whiting’s bare buttocks and Hussey’s bare breasts. According to the actors, who presented claims for damages of one hundred million dollars, it was child pornography, and those images should be removed from the film.

Entry was rejected last May.

The California state judge who dismissed the lawsuit Alison Mackenzien according to which the scene cannot be considered “child pornography”. According to him, the Actors who filed the lawsuit have not been able to provide sufficiently convincing evidence that the scene could be considered absolutely illegal.

He stated that the film also falls under the protection of freedom of speech. In addition to everything, the case has already expired according to the law.
