A new adventure, but without an immunity totem. The adventurer Claude Dartois, known for his participation in “Koh-Lanta”, will participate in the next season of “Dancing with the Stars”, announced TF 1 this Wednesday January 8.
The 45-year-old man, a driver by profession, took on the TF 1 adventure show for the first time in 2010 and finished as a finalist during the 10th season, filmed in Vietnam. Two years later, he repeated the feat again by losing to Bertrand during “The Revenge of the Heroes”, an edition which brought together former candidates.
Four times on the posts in four appearances
Addicted to the “Koh-Lanta” experience, this modern-day Robinson Crusoe left in 2020 for “The Island of Heroes”, then in 2022 for “Koh-Lanta: The Legend”. Each time, he ended up on the posts, which makes him the adventurer with the best record in the history of the program, without ever having won the competition.
By participating in “Dancing with the Stars”, he takes on a new challenge in a field far removed from survival. It remains to be seen whether he will do as well as his adventure companion Laurent Maistret, who won the 7th season of entertainment in 2016 thanks to his performances with dancer Denitsa Ikonomova.
Claude Dartois is the eighth candidate announced by TF 1 for this fourteenth season. He joins a muscular cast, since he will be confronted with athletes Florent Manaudou and Adil Rami, the ex-Star academician Lénie, the actresses Mayane and Charlotte de Turckheim, the host Sophie Davant and the former Miss France Ève Gilles . A few hours later, the front page also confirmed that singer Julie Zenatti would also be one of the apprentice dancers in the running.
