“Putting humanity back into the quest for love”: Karine Le Marchand creates her “marriage agency 2.0”

The star of M 6, at the helm of “L’amour est dans le pré” since 2010, explained the origin of this initiative in a video shared with his subscribers: “The idea is to create a 2.0 marriage agency . People are tired of applications, of being chosen with an index, of being ghosted, of having insincere people, of having fake profiles, of not being respected,” she lamented.

Place au « slow dating »

Chief matchmaker for farmers on the Six for fifteen years, she has launched into meetings within her estate located on the heights of Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône). Exit the “speed-dating” popular since the 2000s, Karine Le Marchand praises “slow dating” with her project: “Meetings for a whole day (…) with a few people, there will be a maximum of 100 people and we will have pre-selected them.”

And the selection should not be made lightly, according to the specialist: “It will be an investment for each of you because we have our entire team who will call you, verify your identity, verify what you do, ask for your criminal record, also check by FaceTime if you are really the person you claim to be, check if it is not a photo from thirty years and forty kilos ago, because that too is a little annoying,” she says with humor.

“It will be able to spark discussions between you and as the day goes on, people will finally meet for real. We put humanity back into this love quest,” insists Karine Le Marchand, who announces a first session in May. A date which will see the organization of meetings by age group and for both heterosexual and homosexual singles, specifies the host.
