Beaten, raped, isolated by her husband, Zaïna testifies in a documentary to “externalize this suffering”

She first recounts her childhood, her father who left when she was only 12 and whom she would never see again, her preference for life in a home with a broken family, even though she was not yet an adult, her memories with her brothers and sisters… Because a woman who is a victim of domestic violence is not just about the blows and insults she received, Zaïna’s testimony is precious.

Once the viewer is captivated by the luminous personality of this courageous fifty-year-old, it is impossible not to see the end of the documentary series “Liberty’s Chroma” which has just been produced by the Association of Women Intercultural Mediator Relays of Champigny (Val-de-Marne) , a structure which links women of all nationalities and institutions on issues of access to rights, the fight against all forms of violence, etc.
