The writer and journalist Sergio del Molino (Madrid, 1979) has been awarded the 10th Raúl del Pozo Opinion Journalism Award, which honors journalists and writers who They contribute with their work to sustain the democratic press and free opinion.
This was announced by the journalist, writer and academic Arturo Pérez-Reverte who is part of the jury for this award that also includes Antonio Lucas, Manuel Jabois, Edu Galán, Juanma Lamet and María José Solano and which also includes the late David Gistau as honorary president, in a tribute from his colleagues.

The author of the essay Empty Spain (2016), about the depopulation of the rural world that served to name the phenomenon and winner of the 2024 Alfaguara Prize for the novel The Germansregularly collaborates with the Herald of Aragon, El PaísOndacero, the magazine Four and other media.
In previous editions, the Raúl del Pozo prize was awarded, among others, to Enric González, Soledad Gallego-Díaz, Pedro García Cuartango, Carlos Alsina, Manuel VincentLucía Méndez, Lydia Cacho and Ignacio Camacho.
