Synthpop legend Duran Duran will arrive in Finland this summer

The legendary Duran Duran will perform at Nokia Arena in Tampere this summer. This is the band’s third concert in Finland.

Everyone’s Duran Duran, one of the most successful bands of all time, will perform in Tampere on June 3.

The concert is the band’s third appearance in Finland. The last time was in 2022, and before that in the band’s early years in 1982.

Duran Duran was founded in Birmingham, England in 1978. Its most famous songs include, among others Girls on Film, Ordinary World, The Wild Boys and Come Undone. In addition to these and other hits from the past decades, the Tampere concert will feature newer material released in 2023 Dance of Macabre from the album, says Live Nation in its announcement.

Duran Duran has worked with many of the most respected figures in music, film and television. For example, a world-famous filmmaker David Lynchwhose death was announced last week, directed the band’s concert album in 2011.

General ticket sales for Duran Duran’s concert begin on Friday, January 24.
