The Baroque Orchestra of the National Conservatory of Music (CNM) will offer the concert Mozart in three times, under the direction of Víctor Contreras, with the participation of clarinetist Alejandro Moreno and the Tultepec Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Contreras commented that the 42 students of the orchestra will perform a program that represents the classical period, highlighting the connection between the baroque and classical styles, which will give them the opportunity to show the work done during the school year, as well as collaborate “with the conservatory community through the participation of the soloist Alejandro Moreno, coordinator of the master’s degree in Interpretation of Mexican Concert Music at the CNM and holder of the Clarinet Chair.

The pedagogical part is very important, since students share the stage with professional musicians and this requires a high level of commitment.explained Contretras and added that Mozart’s music is very difficult to interpret due to the technical challenges it represents.

The public will enjoy the interpretation of works such as Overture to The Uninhabited Islandby Joseph Haydn; he Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622with Alejandro Moreno as soloist; and the Symphony no. 40 in G minor, K. 550both by Mozart.
