Bryan Adams donates the profits from his concert in Valencia to those affected by dana

The Canadian musician Bryan Adams has donated the profits from his concert on January 19 in the city of Valencia to the Fundació Horta Sud. A non-profit association that is channeling part of the resources that are being allocated to alleviate the effects of the damage that devastated some towns in the Valencian Community last November. An announcement that he had already made public in his performance on the stage of the Fuente de San Luis

“Today is a very special night because we were playing here in Spain when the floods took place in Valencia and we saw what happened to your beautiful community. There were many people affected who lost their houses, cars, etc., and that is why We have decided that our benefit from tonight’s concert will go to helping those people. My band and I really want to applaud all of you“said the singer before receiving a standing ovation from the public gathered in the pavilion. The Horta Sud Community Foundation (FCHS) has been operating for 52 years in the region that in recent months has become ground zero for dana. After the disaster caused in those towns, the association launched a fundraising campaign to support the social recovery of the territory. In fact, they were also in charge of managing the money for the tickets for the multiple concerts that took place in different parts of Spain within the Som València cycle. Carolina Durante, Zahara, Alizzz, Judeline and Paula Cendejas participated in it.

Donations from artists have been a constant towards the Valencian Community since the passing of the Dana. In addition, there are many members of the world of culture who have been joining the reconstruction work in the affected towns.
