Francisco Mendiola, new Coordinator of Archeology of INAH

The researcher Francisco Mendiola Galván was appointed yesterday head of the National Coordination of Archeology of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), replacing Martha López Mentas Cambros.

The director of the institute, Diego Prieto, said that Mendiola Galván He has accredited the tasks he has performed and shown sensitivity to teamwork and community work.

The new coordinator thanked Prieto Hernández’s trust and said INAH is family. The joy of working for the good of the country and the institute is what leads me to take office. Bachelor of Archeology from the National School of Anthropology and History in 1984, Mendiola has a master’s degree in Social Anthropology from the Center for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology, and a doctorate for the Benemérita Autonomous University of Puebla.
