Fragility and human complexity come from Paris to Mexico

The artist Daniel Hourdé (Boulogne-Billancourt, 1947) has the extravagant desire to draw our hidden feelings and shadows, evoke the secret torments of the soul and transcribe them through his works, he declared in an interview on the occasion of his exhibition that opens tomorrow in The Picci Fine Arts gallery.

The presence in the Picci Fine Arts gallery continues to collaborate with the French artist who began for more than 20 years and that allowed his presence in our country.

The cartoonist and sculptor feel happy to return to exhibit his work in Mexico, as he was well received. There is a very favorable echo, perhaps because my concerns join the same reasons that are so much in the pre -Hispanic, Hispanic and contemporary culture.

The exhibition offers a new opportunity to appreciate contemporary art with an innovative proposal and cultural impact.

Daniel Hourdé’s relationship with the Aguilar brothers, Arturo Pichi And Juan Pablo emerged thanks to his father, Poncho Aguilar, who was a great collector and who worked in the 60s with the name of Ittati gallery, with figures such as Francisco Corzas, Ricardo Martínez and José Luis Cuevas. The Mexican and the French coincided by devoting themselves to African art trade.
