Large Marvel exhibition comes to Germany

Fans of the Marvel universe can be happy: an extensive exhibition with real costumes, film props and original drawings from the world of Spider-Man, Captain America and Hulk comes to Cologne. The Museum Odysseum said that she would lead visitors through more than 85 years of Marvel history and present more than 200 exhibits.

The exhibition shows Marvel’s development – from the first comics to the latest blockbuster films and series. Selfie hunters are also likely to get their money’s worth – there should be photo spots with life -size statues of the heroes.

The highlights include original costumes by Iron Man (“Iron Man 2”) and Captain Marvel (“The Marvels”) as well as props that every fan of the comic world knows – such as Thors powerful hammer (“Thor: Love and Thunder”) and Captain America’s iconic shield (“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”). In addition, there are historical “treasures, as an edition of Marvel Comics #1” published in 1939, as stated in the announcement.

End of an era

According to the organizers, the exhibition comes to Germany for the first time. In the United States, it has already recorded almost a million admissions. It will be seen in Cologne from March 7th to June 22nd.

The Odysseum in the Cologne district of Kalk is known for its exhibition on pop cultural topics – among other things, the dinos from “Jurassic World” and the world of “Star Wars” showed it. However, the building should now become a school. The Marvel show marks an end point. She is also “a thank you for all the nice years at the Cologne-Kalk location,” said Andreas Waschk from the responsible Explorado Group.
