Maija and Sebastian’s Most Most Jussi nominations

This Candidates for the Jussi Awards of the Year were unveiled on Thursday. Filmiara, a Finnish Film Prize for Finnish Film Awards, told a total of 17 categories chosen by the expert jury.

Unlike previously, this year, the Ensemble Prize for the Year will be awarded to the actor line -up and the Breakthrough of the Year award to the actor, who will be seen on the screen for the first time or has risen to a new level in his career. The new prize category is the Visual Effects of the Year award.

Jussi Awards will be shared at the Jussi Gala on Friday, March 21.

The event will reward films that premiered in 2024. Last year, there were a total of 24 long films and 13 documentaries. Jussi nominations received 16 different screen films and three short films.

The most nominations received Tiina Lymin controlled The Maij of Myrskyluotoa Mikko Mäkelä controlled Sebastian. Both received nine nominations, including candidates for the best guidance and the best movie. These prize categories also included Sampa cancels controlled Apple thieveswhich received a total of six nominations.
