Goya prizes in Granada, an economic impact of 84.59 million

The 39 Gala of the Goya prizes, the highest Spanish cinematographic recognition, which will be held to Granada Next Saturday, it will generate an economic impact of 84.59 million euros andhotel occupation It will reach 90%, with up to 16,402 beds already booked for next weekend on the occasion of the event. According to an economic impact study carried out by the Palacio de Congresos Y Exposiciones de Granada, where the gala will be held, a media coverage of 71 million euros is expected, reported the Municipality of Granada in a press release, in which it is also underlined that the ceremony will mean an “activation of the Granada economy” with the generation of 600 jobs.

 

Granada will be the third Andalusian city to host this Spanish film ceremony, after Malaga (2020 and 2021) and Seville (2019 and 2023), and will entail a total investment of 8.48 million euros, among the costs incurred by the organization of the event (3 million) and others 500,000 euros from the sponsors.
