Rozalén launches his new single ‘Paloma Negra’, which pays tribute to the Mexican Chavela Vargas

The singer Rozalén has launched her new single, ‘Paloma Negra’, who pays tribute to the Mexican Chavela Vargas and coincides with the premiere of the play ‘Chavela’, written and directed by Carolina Román and in which Rozalén is the protagonist.

‘Black Paloma’ is the first single of his next EP, which will be titled ‘Rozalén by Chavela’, a project that includes six versions of the most emblematic songs of the Mexican singer, such as’ La Llorona ‘,’ Macorina ‘,’ Think of me ‘,’ In the last drink ‘and’ Luz de Luna ‘. The EP will go on sale on February 26 and seek to celebrate the legacy of Chavale Vargas.

After its premiere at the Calderón de Valladolid Theater, ‘Chavela’ will travel to Zaragoza, Malaga and Madrid, where it will remain from February 22 to May 4, with Rozalén alternating the role with Nita, by Fuel Fandango. Then, the Tour will continue in Gijón, Albacete, Pamplona and Valencia.

In addition, the functions of the tribute to Chavela will coincide with the second part of the ‘El Hug’ tour, with performances that will resume on February 14 in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) and will culminate in October in the manga of Mar Menor (Cartagena, Murcia), in the beautiful Fest.
