Couturiers, make-ups, hairdressers… For the 500th anniversary of Azay-le-Rideau, 200 volunteers are wanted as part of a large immersive fresco

Domiciled in the barn of the Château des Deux Tours, in the town of Neuville-sur Essonne (Loiret), the troupe of the Minuits Theater is preparing to change its scenery. It was chosen to create the show of the 500th anniversary of Azay-le-Rideau which will be available this summer 24 performances in the castle, from July 16 to August 23.

Co-written with the administrator of Azay-le-Rideau Benoît Grécourt, this show will have as the theme an episode little known, the visit on site of King Louis XIII in June 1619, and will give rise to an animation throughout the castle that spectators will visit in night, in small groups.
