“Euphoria”: the Spanish singer Rosalía joins the cast of season 3

An arrival of choice in the cast of Euphoria. The American channel HBO, which produces and broadcasts this vibrant fiction on free wheel adolescents worn by Zendaya, announced on Friday the participation of Rosalía in season 3 of the program, whose shooting started in mid-February.

The Spanish pop star, which has many tubes to its repertoire like “Con Altura” or “La Fama”, expressed its “enthusiasm” at the idea of ​​joining the cast. “If there is one thing that enthuses me as much as creating a good melody or writing super lyrics is becoming a better artist every day,” reacted the artist with HBO.

The series created by Sam Levinson follows the tormented daily newspaper Bennett (Zendaya), a toxican teenager in search of meaning after an overdose. Through her and her entourage-Jules, Nate, Maddy, Cassie, and others-, the series explores identity disorders, dependencies, sexuality and violence with a hard-hitting aesthetic and an immersive soundtrack.

 

Ceased for her daring staging and the performances of her casting, Euphoria brutally portrays the excesses and disillusions of a youth in search of love and escape. Its impact was praised by several awards, including an Emmy Award for Zendaya, who became, in 2020, the youngest actress to win the prize for best actress in a dramatic series.
