New album by Ikkimel: “Fotze”

Publishing an album called “Fotze” on Valentine’s Day is probably the romance that deserves our time. Ikkimel dissolves the modern desire with analytical sharpness, as just someone with a combination bachelor in German philology and social and cultural anthropology with a focus on linguistics: “Stupid fucks well, I’m stupid as straw.” The texts by rapper Ikkimel are club -Toilet poetry in the best sense and probably the greatest provocation that is on the edge of the German mainstream. On the latest album you stumble through a club night in the frenzy for a good half an hour, dress code: “Out without, down the tanga.” Sounds as if you had turned too quickly on the techno floor in a circle. That hurts a bit, but it’s still worth it.
