Three years after an investigation for rape ended by a dismissal, the actor and humorist Ary Abittan is again on stage, a return disputed by feminists sometimes protesting around the rooms where he performs.

“The feminist fights are very important, but in my story, I was innocent”he underlines. Placed in police custody the next day, Ary Abittan was indicted. A three-year instruction resulted in a confirmed dismissal on appeal last January.

“Justice has decided and seven magistrates unanimously innocent. I don’t want to be defined by this case which now belongs to the past. We all live difficult times, trials … It’s important for me to find the public. To make people laugh is what I missed the most. ”he says.

Projects for theater and cinema
