Futurism exhibition, at the GNAM Conference Magna Carta “The Great War of Culture”

Saturday 22 February, from 10.00 to 19.00, at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, the conference “The Great War of Culture. Contamination, Transversalisms, Reclaims” will take place, organized by the Magna Carta Foundation as part of the exhibition “The time of futurism”. The meeting will deepen the cultural fracture caused by the First World War and the way the conflict has transformed the political cultures of the time.

The conference will be divided into two sessions. In the morning session Giovanni Orsina (Luiss Guido Carli), Lorenzo Benadusi (Rome III), Gaetano Quagliariello (Luiss Guido Carli) and Domenico Maria Bruni (University of Siena) will speak. Moderated Maurizio Caprara (Corriere della Sera). The afternoon session will see the interventions of Eugenio Capozzi (Sister Orsola Benincasa University), Simona Colazi (La Sapienza University), Marco Gervasoni (University of Molise), Monica Cioli (Normal School of Pisa) and Alessandra Tarquini (La Sapienza University). Introduces and coordinates Francesco Giorgino (director of the Rai Study Office).
