The battle of Pavia relives in the park of the Mirabello Castle

The historical re -enactment of the battle of Pavia on the occasion of the sixteenth -century of the event was held in the park of the Mirabello Castle. It is an epochal event that marked the history of Europe. The first great clash in which firearms were decisive for the final outcome and which opened a new chapter in the events of Italy and the old continent.

The main event and unique was the faithful reconstruction of the battle which he saw for two hours more than 500 costume re -enactors of 54 historical companies from Europe and the USA, near a camp with about 120 historical curtains that have revived The atmospheres of the time. The re -enactors wore vintage clothes and brought armaments, and equipment referring to the armies and soldiers of the sixteenth century, faithfully reconstructed on the basis of accurate studies.
