The best news was at the end: The most beautiful film actually won. This was rarely the case with the Berlinale. The gloss of the Golden Bear was often directed to political messages that were important to the juries and the festival management, but sometimes could not shine beyond the bubble of cultural policy.
In its 75th year, the Berlinale concentrated again and let the art of human close -up speak for themselves: more films came to us again.
Understand your own feelings in the crowd of the world
Just like “Drømmer”, the drama of the Norwegian director Dag Johan Haubereud, who was awarded the golden bear, about the unfulfilled first love of a student to her teacher. A piece of life about the longing of all of us, in the crowd of the world, a piece of life that is told with tender language, dreamy pictures and an urgent game.
