Since Marion Ackermann moves to Berlin to the head of the Prussian Cultural Ownership Foundation, a new general director had to be found for the State Art Collections in Dresden (SKD), Germany’s second largest museum network. Now he was presented: Bernd Ebert, born in 1972 in West Berlin. A surprising choice?
