The 79th edition of the festival, which will take place from June 2 to July 26, will remain faithful to its tradition of diversity, with music, theater and dance, as announced by the organizers on Tuesday.

The Irish of Fontaines DC will open the concert ball on June 9, before an impressive parade of the greatest: Jean-Louis Aubert, Clara Luciani, M (accompanied by Fatoumata Diawara and Balla Diabate), the British singer Beth Gibbons, fire! Chatterton, Jorja Smith, Jeanne Added, without forgetting the Lyonnaise Apple, who will be at home.

In addition to music, a very special place will be dedicated to magic with the installation of a “Magic village” In the center of Lyon, where workshops, exhibitions and shows will follow one another. Dance will be as always in the spotlight with, in particular, Benjamin Millepied in a tribute to the American singer and guitarist Jeff Buckley. Themed evenings, “Saturdays of nights”, will give pride of place to « Folk and roots »au « Hip-Hop »at rap (the “Rap night”), in Africa with « African grooves » And finally, in a great final, in karaoke, with We can be heroes.

The ticket office opens on March 19 at noon. In 2024, the Nights of Fourvière attracted 165,000 spectators.
