Xiaomi Spain combines photography and gastronomy with a temporary exhibition that is seen and eaten

Xiaomi Spain has presented its new campaign, ‘Eating with the eyes: the taste of photography’, an experience where emotions become art and gastronomy by joining a first visual part (starring photographs) with a second taste (which revolves around the dishes made for the occasion), so that the images are seen and eat.

Each of the snapshots has been captured entirely with the new Xiaomi 15 Ultra and its Leica lenses, in a project that combines the photograph of Xiaomi and Leica with the High Gastronomy, and that it has been possible to visit, on a single day, in the Larra de Madrid space, the scene of emotions that have gone on horseback between the visual and the gustatory.

To carry out this initiative, the company has had three internationally renowned photographers: María Contreras, Javier Corso and Ana Palacios, who have presented photographic series that explore three emotions: euphoria, surprise and love, respectively.

Specifically, euphoria has been captured by María Contreras when portraying the Castells party in Barcelona, ​​a centenary tradition that speaks of pride, effort, union and family; While the surprise, by the hand of Javier Corso, is set in the world of the circus. Love, narrated by Ana Palacios, enters the link between animals and people, based on the work of those who dedicate their lives to the rescue and care of animals.

Each series culminates in an exclusive dish created by chef Begoña Rodrigo, awarded a Michelin star and 3 Repsol soles. Thus, the emotions captured have not only been reflected in the images, but have inspired the creation of three unique dishes designed to move those sensations to the palate.
