The new edition in the spring of the Stradivari Festival in the name of Bach

The StradivariFestival, the most important musical event of the Cremona violin museum, this year now in its XIII edition, will start in the spring in the Giovanni Arvedi auditorium, with a real season of chamber music.

After having dedicated the first months to the piano with an ad hoc review, a season develops from April to December that sees violin and arched tools in the foreground, with soloists and ensembles of absolute international prestige, but with a focus also on the accordion, an instrument that in our territory boasts an important tradition.

And with Johann Sebastian Bach, the father of modern music, to act as a red thread of some of the main appointments, but also with programs in which the authors of yesterday and today reside for a coexistence of styles and era that in recent years has been very welcome by the public. Close to Christmas, after the usual appointment with the StradivarimeMerialday (18 December) this year entrusted to an ensemble of All-Star del Pentagramma, there will be the traditional appointment with the gospel entrusted to one of the best of the genre, The New York City Gospel Choir.

The season will start on Wednesday 30 April with “The Brandenburgesi”, Freiburger Barockorchester (Vincent Bernhardt harpsichord, Gottfried von Der Goltz and Cecilia Bernardini Violini Concertatori). Johann Sebastian Bach: Brandenburg concerts nn. 1-2-3-5-6.

Monday 13 October Trio Capuçon-Coltani-Fujita (Renaud Capuçon Violino, Kian Solani Cello, Mao Fujita Piano) Music by Schubert and Brahms.

Sunday 26 October Krylov Violin Project (Sergej Krylov Violino, Fazil Say Piano) Music by Schumann, Bartok, Wagner, F. Say.

Friday 7 November Passion Galliano (Richard Galliano accordion) music from Bach to Gershwin.

On Tuesday 18 November the musical offer (Akademie Für Alte Musik) music by JS Bach.
