“Music and artificial intelligence: opportunities, risks and the challenge of regulation”. It is the title of the seminar promoted by the Ministry of Culture, on the initiative of SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) and FIMI (Italian Music Industry Federation), which It will be held at Mic, tomorrow from 10 am (Spadolini room – Via del Collegio Romano, 27).
The Undersecretary of State to Culture will open the works with delegation to music and the relative copyright, Gianmarco Mazzi. He will introduce the president of the Author Law Committee of the Mic and Professor at the University of Salerno, Salvatore Sica. Eleonora Rosati, professor of intellectual property law at the University of Stockholm and Pasquale Stanzione, president of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, will deal respectively ‘training of AI between copyright and Act’ and ‘artificial intelligence, protected creativity and personality rights’.
The seminar will end with the round table ‘Music and ai: looking for a correct balance’. Speakers: Alberto Barachini, Undersecretary for the Prime Minister with delegation to information and publishing, Diego Ciulli, director for government affairs and public policies of Google Italia, Enzo Mazza, CEO Fimi and Salvatore Nastasi, Siae President. The seminar will be moderated by Marta Cagnola, journalist of Il Sole 24 Ore.
