American rapper Azealia Banksin Wednesday’s performance at the Helsinki Sound Wall Club was canceled in the last time. He was supposed to perform at Äänwall on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday, April 3, but the cancellation of the first gig was announced the same evening, Wednesday at about 7.30 pm. Banks’ performance was announced at 9pm, meaning that the gig was canceled only about one and a half hours before the performance.

Banks is currently on the European tour and performed on 1 April in Copenhagen.

Banks himself said on Wednesday at X that he was late for the Helsinki flight due to the security queues and did not want to cancel his performance on Wednesday. Instead, he wanted to start a gig at night at 1.30 pm “Like normal people,” not at the start of the “Grandma” at 9:30 p.m.

However, the performance of Wednesday did not materialize, but the replacement gig was agreed on Friday 4 April. Thursday’s gig is coming to an end as planned.

Both Wednesday’s canceled and Thursday gig have been sold out, and the tickets bought for Wednesday will be on Friday’s replacement gig as such. Friday schedule However, it is even earlier, as the doors are opened at 4 pm and Banks is said to start performing at 6 pm.
