Through an in -depth and rigorous analysis, Piroddi examines the various stages of political communication, highlighting how social media, the web and the Ai have redefined strategies, languages and dynamics of interaction between political leaders and voters. The book is divided into eleven chapters, addressing crucial issues such as the evolution of political communication from the origins to the digital era, the role of traditional media and new media in the formation of public opinion, the impact of fake news and the disinformation on the electoral campaigns, the communication strategies based on micro -artaization and on the analysis of big data and the role of the AI in the personalization of the political message.

“The volume also stands out for the ability to connect theory and practice, presenting cases of study and analysis of recent political campaigns – adds Riccardo Piroddi – I wrote this book especially for those who are not technicians or professionals of political communication, with the intention of showing them how this communication works today and what are the strategies adopted by political leaders and their staff in an era that, thanks to technology, constantly changes approaches and communicative media, thus allowing to develop a more aware understanding of the political and communication dynamics of our time “.
