Literary Nobel winner, Peruvian Mario Vargas Llosa has died at the age of 89. He died in the capital Lima in peace surrounded by his family, wrote his son Álvaro Vargas Llosa Message service in X.
Mario Vargas Llosa was one of Latin America’s most famous writers and social talkers. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2010.
In his books, Vargas Llosa described society and politics in different countries, in his earliest works, usually in Peru but later around Latin America. His most well -known novels are the breakthrough in the Peruvian Military Academy City dogs (1962); Andeen’s man (1993) and to the dictator of the Dominican Republic Rafael Trujilloon engaged Goat’s party (2000).
Vargas Llosa was also a journalist, essayist and politician. In 1990, he participated as a candidate for Conservatives. He lost in the second round of the election by a percentage of 37.62-62.38 to a more right Alberto Fujimorille (who died last September at the age of 86).
He spent his later years mainly in Madrid.
