Cinema Kari Uusitalo has died on Tuesday 23 September. He was 92 when he died.
The national Audiovisual Institute (KAVI) is reported by the issue in a memoir Uusitalo remembers the former leader of the Institute Matti Lukkarila.
According to Lukkarinen, Uusitalo was the longest and most prominent advocate of the Finnish film, who worked as the editor -in -chief of the Finnish National Filmography.
Uusitalo’s multidisciplinary life work included, among other things, manuscripts, research, chronologies, essays and film critics of films and TV series.
“How many of the preface to the film research ends with thanks,” Lukkarila writes.
Uusitalo was awarded the title of Film Counseling in 1990.
