The Ministry of Culture has secured two sculptures of 38 million euros Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini y Alberto Giacometti for permanent exhibition at the ThyssenBornemisza National Museum, according to the Official State Gazette.
The insured works are ‘The Glade’ by Giacometti, in 17 million eurosy ‘San Sebastian’ by Bernini, which has been given a state guarantee by 21.3 million euros.
In both cases, the State guarantee will be in force from January 1, 2026 and will take effect until December 31, 2026or until the work is returned to the place designated by the transferor.
