“I was on my knees screaming and crying. It was taken from me in an instant”

In the new episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, Khloe Kardashian (41) reveals one of the most painful moments in her life: the trauma and brokenness left by her ex-husband Lamar Odom, who prevented her from her favorite hobby of all – writing diaries.

According to Kardashian, during the dramatic period of their marriage, Lamar suffered from severe alcohol and drug addiction problems that drove him into extreme paranoia: “He found my diaries and convinced himself that I was sending them to the government. Out of this madness, he threw all the diaries into the fire.”

Chloe added: “The next thing I remember is me on my knees, crying and screaming. These were years and years of my life that were burned. I felt like it was taken from me in a split second, and what was the point of that?”, she wondered.

The star of “The Kardashians” used to write her feelings and thoughts on a daily basis for years, and since that devastating event she has not been able to write anymore.

Despite the pain, Chloe emphasized that she still believes in the healing power of writing: “I wish I had my journals, it allows the ability to look back and see how much you’ve changed.”

Chloe and Lamar met in 2009 and got married after about a month of dating. Their relationship was closely documented in the family reality show and even received a ‘spin-off’ in their own show “Chloe and Lamar”. They separated in 2013 after Khloe filed for divorce due to the former basketball player’s drug addiction and publicized infidelities.
