The world of music and entertainment is crying Ornella Vanoni‘ lady’ of Italian music.
The voice of ‘Senza fine’, who passed away at the age of 91 due to an illness in his home in Milan, is remembered with great emotion by Fabio Fazio who welcomed her as a regular guest on his show for years. “I’m not able to say anything. I’m speechless and I wasn’t ready for all this. It doesn’t seem possible to me”, writes the host on social media. “My beloved treasure”, Luciana remembers her Littizzetto.
“Your music will remain in our hearts forever,” says Simona Ventura. While on the broadcast’s social media we read: “Thank you for everything you gave us Ornella, we will always keep it in our hearts”.
The penultimate one dates back to ‘Che tempo che fa’ appearance of Vanoni in tivu’before participating as a judge on ‘Amici’, in the episode recorded on November 6th.
On the 2nd, however, at Fazio’s, Ornella showed up, very elegant in light grey, with a crown of flowers and joked about the invitation on the anniversary of the dead. “You’re in great shape,” Fazio told her. “It seems like it,” the singer replied. “I’ve been sick. You find me fit but I’m pretending, I play the part but I feel terrible”, she added, smiling. “But I’m a serious person in life, I’ve done important things, why do I always have to make people laugh here?”, he then joked, taking leave of the audience.
The world of music welcomes the news of Vanoni’s passing with great emotion, but the President of the Chamber also wishes to remember her as a “single voice”. Among the singers, Renato Zero dedicates a post to her friend in which she publishes a photo of the two of them together and writes: “A huge painful silence”. “I’m looking for the words but I can’t find them, they all seem banal to me and she has always hated banality, now I only feel a great deep regret, we will miss you”, he comments Fiorella Mannoia. “Hello legendary Ornella, thank you for this interpretation for the voice and the constant irony”, he says Vasco Rossi.
While Laura Pausini he remembers that Ornella was his favorite, “only” singer. “Ornella couldn’t have left us: she wanted to live. A fascinating, intelligent, cultured, self-deprecating woman.
