From Disiz the Plague to Disiz the Gentle. Twenty-five years after “J’pète lesplombs”, Disiz has released one of the hits of the end of the year with “Melodrama”, a duet with Théodora, and one of the best French records of the year with his fourteenth album, “on s’en s’appelra pas”, released last Friday. The least we can say is that this title is not premonitory. We will remember this album, without capital letters but very capital letters, which enters directly into our top 3 of the artist.
At 47, the singer-songwriter only raps on two tracks out of the album’s 20, but finds the perfect balance between pop, song, electro and hip-hop, ballad and up tempo.
