Amy Schumer reacts to the weight loss storm: “I am dealing with an illness”

Just yesterday (Monday) Amy Schumer uploaded a post on her Instagram page that featured a dramatic weight loss and a hand bare of a wedding ring, which provoked quite a bit of criticism and immediately ignited a wave of rumors about her separation from her husband and father of her son Chris Fisher. Today, a new Beryl photographed by her son Jean (6), Schumer decided to address the created storm, and clarified what exactly is happening between her and Chris.

Brill shows Jean taking a tour of his mother’s bedroom, while Schumer lies on the bed, but the text she added is the one that stole the focus: “I never wear jewelry, I don’t do botox and I didn’t lose 30 pounds, but 50. And it wasn’t to look good, although it’s fun, but to survive.” In doing so, she made it clear that a breakup from Chris Fisher was not on the agenda, even if she was photographed without a ring.

Later, Schumer revealed her health condition and mentioned that she is dealing with Cushing’s syndrome, which she first disclosed about a year and a half ago: “I am dealing with a disease that causes great swelling in the face and that can kill. Sorry for what my weight loss makes you feel. I had plastic surgery during the two and I use injections to lose weight, sorry if this disappoints you, but I am pain-free and can play catch for my son.”

On the side of the video she wrote: “I would be happy to share if anyone has questions about how I look or where I am in my menopause process. In front of this she added a sentence that directly targets the rumors: “What will happen between me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that we’ll get through this because he’s the best there is.”
