Taylor Swift reveals her favorite songs in her discography

Since the start of her career in 2006, Taylor Swift has released twelve albums and no less than 248 songs. However, during his visit on Wednesday December 10, in the Late Show with Stephen Colbertthe author and composer had to make a difficult choice.

During the cult satirical show, presenter Stephen Colbert regularly questions the artists who appear on his set about their top 5 titles from their discography. The American star has not escaped this. Taylor Swift admitted that it would take her more time to respond to establish her top 5. Especially since her ranking “constantly changing” she says. The singer still played the game by recognizing that the first song in her ranking is the long version of All Too Well. Released in 2012 in the album Redthe song was reworked by the artist to reveal a version of 10. Being considered one of his most accomplished works, All Too Well is therefore regularly cited by these fans. Taylor Swift also admitted to being “obsessed” by his latest album, The Life of a Show Girlreleased October 3, 2025.

The star completed her ranking with another title that she particularly appreciates Mirrorball from his album Folklore released in July 2020. “A friend sent it to me, she was talking about it, I posted it, and then you asked me this question, so I said it” admits the singer frankly. In this title written during the pandemic, the star talks about her relationship with her audience and describes what she is doing to stay in line with the expectations of her fans and the musical universe in which she operates.
