Mollicone (Chamber of Deputies), ‘The circulatory system describes the heart as a symbol in a new way’

“I find this work truly significant because the heart is a symbol which, from the Egyptians onwards, has always represented the seat of the soul. Science today also tells us that it is the seat of a second brain. ‘Circulatory system’ represents the contemporary artist’s ability to deal with artificial intelligence, with high and significant concepts and symbols, such as that of the heart, and to do so in an unprecedented way, therefore with no small effort. Millions of hearts pass through here every year, leaving, they come back, they cry and they hope. Everyone has joy, nostalgia, a desire for the future and beauty inside themselves.” These are the words of Federico Mollicone, president of the Culture Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, on the occasion of the inauguration of the work ‘Circulatory System. Six hearts, one heartbeat’ by the artist Jago, organized at Terminal 1, Transit Area, of Rome Fiumicino ‘Leonardo Da Vinci’ international airport.
